Synopsis – Tue Sep 10 2024

Continued warm temperatures today and tomorrow, as the upper ridge causing the heat, gradually weakens. A strong upper trough moving across the PACNW, will push a cold front into our region, bringing much cooler temperature to our area by Thursday. So Thursday will be the coolest day of the week, with highs in Bishop below normal. That hasn’t happened for some time. Some moderation in temperatures is expected Friday and Saturday, as another trough is expected to reach the West Coast Sunday. More updated tomorrow…DMATT

Big Pine: 93 / 54
Independence: 94 / 61
Lone Pine: 94 / 63
Olancha: 95 / 65
