Synopsis – Fri Sep 06 2024

Our ridge today shifts slightly Southeast, in response to a weak low pressure system moving through NORCAL. However, right now it looks like most of the convection remains over far Northwest NV and NE CA. The Sierra at least can expect scattered Cumulus over the Crest. Temps will be warm again today, with a slight reduction of a few degress thru Sunday. I have been looking at another possible trough next week, but it looks like most of its moisture stays to our North. Right now, the best we can hope for is slightly cooler temperatures…DMATT
