Synopsis – Mon Sep 09 2024

I may have some good weather news for you regarding the heat, and it’s about time, right. As we head into the new work week, a mid level ridge remains across the Desert SW, bringing warm temps across our area, at some 5 degrees above normal. But by midweek change is afoot, an early season longwave trough digs across the PACNW, dropping down into our area by Wednesday. Bishop then should see a drop in high temps of some 12 degrees by Thursday (from 94° today to 82° Thursday). We will see how all this pans out…DMATT
