I bet you are ready for a cooling trend, right? By Saturday and Sunday, our record breaking (near 600 dm) ridge finally moves East and in doing so brings both a slight cooling trend to the area and an increase in mid level moisture in the atmosphere. So chances of scattered t-storms, particularly over higher terrain over the weekend. Next week you can expect daytime highs to run only 3 – 5 degress above normal for mid July. Heatrisk then drops to minor to patches of moderate. Still warm, yes, but I bet we will take it!…DMATT
