Synopsis – Fri Sep 13 2024

Well happy Friday the 13th and the weather felt pleasantly cool last night in Bishop @ 44°. Today the system responsible for our cool down departs the Western U.S. leaving broad troughing in place across the Desert SW. So a great Sept weekend looks likely for all of us. Then by late Sunday, a second potent trough digs onto the West Coast, drawing up additional TS moisture from Baja. That moisture combined with the aforementioned trough will set the stage for slight chances of showers/storms across the Owens Valley and slight chances of rain/snow showers in Mammoth Monday. Fall, do I hear you knocking at the door?…DMATT
