Forecast Discussion – Thu Aug 08 2024

Strong high pressure hangs on thru the rest of the week into Saturday. So triple digit heat still dominates our weather. But there is some good news starting Sunday. I am keeping my eye on a trough pattern dropping farther South from the PACNW, down along the West Coast. If this happens, then you can expect a cooling trend (did I really say a cooling trend) starting Sunday and continuing into next week. Temperatures should drop down to mid August norms by early next week. Stay tuned…DMATT
