I have a Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest cabin outside Bridgeport and it is difficult to obtain news in the Eastern Sierra (read Eastern California). It is a blessing that we are not overwhelmed by people as it is at Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, but not so good for happenings in MONO County. It appears that Bridgeport (with the new medical and jail operations) will remain the County Site with the Courts and etc. there has been a large amount of activity in Mammoth Lakes. They have 3 of the 5 MONO county supervisors.
