A call came across the scanner this late afternoon. A motorcyclist was struck by a car. After a field sobriety test, the driver was officially arrested under suspicion of DUI. We will keep names confidential until the official CHP Report is released. This accident is still under investigation. According to a motorcyclist’s friend, the bike was brand new. The positive was he gave his friend a thumbs up as the Bishop Fire Department took him to Northern Inyo Hospital.
