The author of this book says, "California leads the nation in UFO sightings and encounters, with over 5000 reported incidents from the late nineteenth through the early twenty-first centuries."
Over the years, more than a few in the Eastern Sierra have reported sightings of UFO’s, Unidentified Flying Objects. Some well-known, solid citizens have called us to report sitings but preferred to remain anonymous to the public. Another such incident took place this week.
A Bishop man, well-known, but who shall remain anonymous, reported to Sierra Wave Media that he was driving west on West Line Street just past Barlow Lane Monday night about 9:30 when he saw a very bright red light. The spherical object passed slowly over the road. The man said he saw that it was a sphere made up of a geometric assembly of very bright red lights that did not blink on and off. The man estimated the size of the sphere as no more than ten or fifteen feet in diameter. He described it as “a ball of closely-spaced red lights.”
The man said he pulled off the road and rolled down the window and saw the sphere seeming to float in the air about a hundred yards away. He said he was struck by how evenly spaced the lights were all around the sphere, and as he watched the sphere drift south, he saw it suddenly accelerate, move up and disappear.
Through the years in the Eastern Sierra, similar reports have been made by ordinary citizens who prefer anonymity because of the remaining stigma for those who say they see UFOs.
In this case, the Bishop man said he was sober, wide awake and saw the incredible sight that he described as it unfolded over West Bishop.
The citizen did say he wanted to know if anyone else in the area saw anything like it. On the National UFO Reporting Center website, reports of floating and flying spheres were registered in the last two months from several California cities, including San Diego, West Hollywood and Fresno. im dying of laughter reading these comments.
Hmmm it’s September 14th 2013 browsing the Internet and wow look what I found all this from 2012 from Bishop California.
Well now all these negative comments tells a lot about you all… I grew up here in Bishop I have seen and know much about the people and the area. I believe this man and my personal opinion about all of the name calling and negativity well lets just say this is a pathetic excuse for human beings you all are. A person has the courage to share an experience and of course all the narrow minded people creep out from their musty mental shells to place judgment and unleash there true colors of fear. It’s okay I understand your misery and unhappiness you poor pitiful people, now go back to your reality of life and by all means be happy. Surely only your beliefs are the truth and exist right?
Thank you Dave for providing clear-cut and childish evidence of the wacky,angst-ridden and potentially violent movement that is taking hold in America today. The “meet me in the street for a showdown” is a very real position today for the foam-at-the-mouthers that find their way unto blogs like this.
What in my post indicated or eluded to anything you just spilled out? Like most of your posts, you write lines on nonsensical BS. Again, to continue this discussion, let me know when we can meet. Very, very simple.
Get some therapy Dave. Like most Limbaughites, you sound like you’re ready to explode and do something violent.
With words like “angst”, “seething”, “mouth foaming”, “Limbaugh”, “violent” and “hate” in virtually all of your emails, I would say therapy would be more suitable for you. Once again you would prefer to hde behind monikers instead of sitting down and discussing your hatred. Fear has paralyzed you to a life behind a computer screen like a child hiding in the weeds with a sling shot… pathetic at best.

That explains a lot … lol
California has the edge when it comes to nut jobs .. with two large centers for extra terrestrial life to transport them down to earth for them to blend in.
MIB Will root em out though.
Yeah, all the left wing extremists have a history in this state of wearing the funny goggles and pretending we’re in the land of fairies and lollypops with UFOs coming fix all the problems this state has.
Big Al- Well you know with all the illegal ALIENS running around this once great state, there are bound to be more UFO observations here!
Neoconservatives freak out about everything. It’s in their DNA.
And now it’s “get into a fight, cross your fingers, sue the evil government, and maybe you’ll get rich”
No UFO. Simply a battery operated, four engine flying platform with led lights. The electric motors are silent from 100 feet away…the aircraft is extremely stable and can be operated up to 1,000 feet away for the civilian versions. We see them flying as camera platforms over the waves at the beach in NorCal on calm days.
LOL a prefect forum to report such activity, seeing how the reporting parties are anonymous … hehe .. now all of the anonymous posters can have a field day with it good work Benett.
I overheard of a some individuals a while back discussing how cool it would to make a UFO hoax, I wonder did they succeed?
“Any human that thinks and promotes the selfish concept that humans are the only “intelligent” form of life within the vastness of the Universe, is indeed an egocentric imbecile.”
So in your book one is an egocentric imbecile for no more than forming one’s belief on empirical evidence that to date has failed to reveal ANY intelligent life apart from humans? Let’s assume, with the overwhelming majority of humanity, that humpback whales don’t count, and that humans are to be considered intelligent notwithstanding the California legislature.
“So in your book one is an egocentric imbecile for no more than forming one’s belief on empirical evidence that to date has failed to reveal ANY intelligent life apart from humans?”
In my book I do not make close minded decisions based on the very minute evidence that we have today. Evidence that is so minute and biased.
To say that we currently have yet to reveal ANY other intelligent life in the infinite Universe and that we know it all, is just another example of that egocentric mentality that I speak of. We do not know 1/1 trillionth of what exists out/up there. To say we do is just plain imbecilic to say the least.
Dear people, quit calling each other imbeciles. Sounds like 5th grade playground. We can have an intelligent and speculative discussion about extra terrestrial life without name-calling, for heaven’s sake.
Benett Kessler
…but this is a 5th grade playground for children — think of the children…..
The childish name-calling comes in part from the culture these people belong to. Talk-radio addicts listen to name-calling ilk the likes of Rush Limbaugh 3 straight hours a day, 5 days a week and reruns on weekends.
Tune in yourself to see the truth to what is happening in our society today.
And yes, I know. Nobody listens to Rush (I hate liberals) Limbaugh.
(loud laughter)
“Uncivil behavior” AKA Hypocrite:
Let me know when you’ll be at the Tiger Bar and we’ll continue this discussion.
Get over it already uncivil.
All future post shall adhere to the following definitions, morons is applied to people with an IQ of 51-70, imbeciles to those with an IQ of 26-50 and idiots to people with an IQ of 0-25.
Any idiots or imbeciles that would like to test for moron, must first allow smart meters.
E.T. tweet home!
And we can have fun with it too Benett, and yes there is no need for name calling and put downs, to some it gives them some power to puff up on. just saying …
Maybe they are looking for their fearless leader – Rush Limbaugh.
: >
Great thinking on your part. Anyone who does not share your belief, in your view is an imbecile.
OBTW, they are having a two for one sale at Smart & Final on large rolls of tinfoil, in case you want to re-line your hat and bedroom ceiling.
Oh – no!
Another thing for the neocons to obsess and worry about!
Any human that thinks and promotes the selfish concept that humans are the only “intelligent” form of life within the vastness of the Universe, is indeed an egocentric imbecile.
Even Albert Einstein accepted the idea of many others, most likely far more intelligent, selfless and humble than us, existing throughout the Universe.
No Ken Warner, they are not coming to conquer anything.
Rather, they are coming to take away those worthy and open minded spirits such as the individual reporting this incident,.Ultimately, leaving behind the close minded self-centered old imbeciles such as yourself, to whither away on this decaying doomed planet.
Bon voyage …
Area 51, Tonopah.
Uh-oh, it the smart meters. They’ve phoned home and now their kind has come to conquer the Earth and free their brothers….
Beam me up Scotty…
This should be this week’s “Beureaucrat Beat”! I think this sober gentleman witnessed a representative checking in on us.
