In October, Mono narcotics agents made four arrests as the result of a three-month investigation. Two of the suspects have entered pleas to cocaine sales.
According to Assistant District Attorney Tim Kendall, 27-year-old Christopher Harris and
22-year-old Kimberly Gies entered pleas to sales of cocaine. Sentencing is scheduled for December 7th.
A charge of sales of cocaine was filed on Philip Baum who is scheduled for court on November 30th. No charges have been filed on Bruce Baum who was arrested initially with the other three defendants.
Agents had said that during their searches in the Mammoth area, they recovered some 1.5 ounces of cocaine, scales and packaging materials associated with narcotic sales in these cases.
