Eastern Sierra News for December 30, 2025

Bishop Lions will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, and semi-world famous corn dogs this week at the Tri-County Fair.  Hours Thursday and Friday, 3pm to close.  Saturday and Sunday 11am to close.  Beverages and candy will also be available and served by friendly Lions at the front window of the Lions food booth near the Main Arena entrance.  Back window will open for the invited honors students Sunday and again during the  demolition derby Sunday evening.

Please be patient with Lions – we are trying out our new Blackstone grills from High Country Lumber and we are working on a new credit card system at our windows!  Please bring cash if you can just to be sure………

If you have some old eyeglasses sitting around the house ready to be discarded, please don’t throw them away but bring them to the Lions food booth any day during the fair and give them to a Lion in the window.  You’ll get a grin and a big THANK YOU!

The Bishop Lions thank you for your support which goes to academic scholarships, grants-in-aid, athletic team support, student and adult vision screening, and numerous other community programs.

With some calendar and holiday exceptions, Bishop Lions meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at Noon at the Bishop VFW Hall, 484 Short Street.  For information on Bishop Lions and membership in Lions International, please contact 2025-26 Lion President Carole Wade (760-937-4423). ###
