Currently, the Bishop Fire Department is working to secure and investigate the cause of the fire. Witnesses on the scene said there was smoke pouring out of the swamp cooler and all windows of the house. Multiple agencies responded.  Bishop Fire Department, Chalfant Fire, Inyo Forest Fire, Inyo Sheriff, Bishop Police Department, Sierra Life Flight, CalFire, and Bishop Paiute Tribal Police.
