This is great…I just signed my grandson up for Bishop class.
When both of my boys started driving I took them down to the Los Angeles County Coroners office and made them spend 3 evenings seeing the results of traffic accidents…… It made a definite impact on them and I never once had a problem with their driving….They both said seeing in real life was much different than seeing it on the news or reading a article in the paper…
That would be child abuse in this PC World now days Roy 😉
I worked in the Riverside County Coroners office for awhile. Lots of death, always make sure your socks match.
I think they should do that in Drivers Ed. in high school, Roy…kinda like ‘Scared Straight” for potential rookie drivers. All the crazy crap that me and ALL my friends did when we were young, it baffles me that none of us ended up dead, or worse. No airbags, no seatbelt law, no curfew. I still run with the same bunch, & we’ve only lost 2 out of about 20 of us. I thought none of us would see 30.
In most school districts Drivers Ed has been cut. Drivers Ed seems like a pretty important life saving class to cut from the curriculum. With the influx of illegal alien students more money will have to come from somewhere or we will see even more school district cuts.
Excellent. It should be mandatory for all new drivers regardless of age.
