There was a short in a speaker wire that had caught the speaker on fire. Upon arrival, Jason Brown asked if they had anything to protect the floor. Stacey Vannest got a huge tarp. All law enforcement help spread the tarp just in time for Bishop Fire Department to arrive. Bishop Fire discharged their hose in the trash can to minimize the water to the floor. Fire Department sprayed straight up to limit overspray. Everyone worked hard to cleanup and dry the floor. With a scissor lift the fire department was able to get the speaker out. No damage to the floor Bishop Union High School gym floor. Gym smells a little smokey but no too bad. Thank you to all law enforcement that showed up.
