UPDATE *****Graduation is next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It was originally scheduled for the following week. They have been gathering gift cards but don’t have nearly enough for 111 gift cards for the grads.

They want to help local businesses and bless the grads. They are going to meet Monday to assemble the bags. If you want to bring them by the office and put them through the mail slot. Please put your names on them .

Though we as a Team were hoping beyond hope that the COVID-19 virus would not interfere with this years Graduation, it has. Unfortunately the Sober Grad Team came to the conclusion that it would not be safe or responsible to hold Sober Grad Night this year. This would have been the 40th year of providing our Grads a fun and safe way to celebrate their achievements and give them fun memories on which to build their future.

The Sober Grad Team will be putting together a gift bag for each graduate. We would like to invite our community to bless the grads with gift cards for their bags. This would also give us the chance to support different businesses right here in Bishop and at the same time celebrating our Grads. We have 111 grads this year. You can drop off your gift at the Calvary Baptist Church office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 3pm. If you have any questions please feel free to call Connie Caton at 760-920-8261. The last day to make a donation will be May 27th.
