Southern Inyo Healthcare District is excited to announce that the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program has an upcoming class! This program fulfills all requirements set by California Department of Public Health and upon completion will allow students to take the CNA state exam and obtain certification. This will be a 160 (one hundred sixty) hour program with a combined 50 (fifty) theory and 110 (one hundred ten) clinical hours. Key Points:
A Certified Nursing Assistant can work in any healthcare related field which requires an active CNA certification. Examples include Hospitals, Long-Term Care facilities, Assisted Living facilities, Home Health & Hospice agencies, Rehabilitation Centers and Specialty Clinics!
CNAs are a key part of the nursing profession! They are part of the team that provides hands-on care to the patient.
Reimbursement during this training is provided! Yes SIHD pays you!
