Getting the jump on Christmas, the Village at Mammoth put up a big Christmas tree earlier this week. Cleland Hoff was on hand as the big tree went up along with plenty of decorations.

To follow – tree lightings in both Mammoth Lakes and Bishop next Friday. So, make plans to join in community celebrations of the season. In Mammoth, the town tree goes up in the Footloose Sports area around 6pm and in Bishop at City Park.

Plan to bundle up since it appears winter has made its imminent arrival felt and look forward to hot chocolate and Santa Clause.
