Broncos Gallop Past Huskies in Dominant 13-0 Shutout

The Bishop Union Broncos continued their season of dominance on Friday, dismantling the Mammoth Huskies in a 13-0 blowout. This marks the fifth time this year the Broncos have secured a victory by a margin of nine runs or more, proving once again that their offense is one of the most clinical in the league.

Frechette Shines on Both Sides of the Ball

Aiden Frechette was the undisputed star of the afternoon, delivering a masterclass in versatility.

• On the Mound: Frechette dominated over four innings, surrendering zero earned runs and scattering just two hits. His pinpoint control remained intact, marking his third straight appearance without conceding more than two walks.

• At the Plate: He was equally lethal with the bat, finishing a perfect 2-for-2. Frechette tallied two RBIs and crossed the plate twice himself—his highest run total in a single game since April 2025.

Offensive Fireworks

The Broncos’ lineup was firing on all cylinders, finishing the day with a staggering .522 team batting average. When Bishop Union hits above .375, they remain undefeated (4-0) this season.

Key contributors included:

• Richie Talavera: A force at the top of the order, going 3-for-4 with his first double of the season, three runs scored, and two RBIs.

• Brayden Leeson: Reached base in three of his four appearances, highlighted by a triple, a stolen base, and two RBIs.

• Messi Trejo: Added to the momentum with a hit, a stolen base, and an RBI.

Season Outlook

With five wins in their last six outings, Bishop Union has improved their season record to 7-4. During this hot streak, the Broncos have been an offensive juggernaut, averaging 9.8 runs per game.

Conversely, the Mammoth Huskies fall to 2-4 as they struggle to snap a four-game skid.
