The Rotary Clubs of Bishop and Sage to Summit hosted a great event last weekend, the Santa Mile.

Proceeds from annual Santa Mile go toward polio eradication efforts.  This year’s race took place the early evening of Saturday, Dec. 5th and attracted runners of all ages – even some folks ran with their dogs.
This fun event sponsored by Rotary Clubs of Bishop and Sage to Summit, started at the Bishop Chamber of Commerce at the front of Bishop City Park.
In addition to the recognition given to the winning runners, awards and prizes were given to kids and to runners.
All proceeds from the Santa Mile go to Polio Plus which helps fund Rotary’s joint effort with UNICEF, the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to eradicate polio from the face of the earth.
