Rock Creek Road to Close Briefly

September 23, 2025 – Inyo National Forest plans to close Rock Creek Road briefly on September 24th, 2025. Tree fellers will be cutting a large hazard tree approximately two miles up Rock Creek Road from the Highway 395 junction.

The road is anticipated to be closed for about thirty minutes but possibly up to one and a half hours, starting at 1:00 PM. Please adhere to all closure signs and flaggers and stay clear of the tree fellers as they work to get the tree on the ground.
