Project Description: The Project consists of constructing new community multi-use facilities at the project site, encompassing a maximum 100-foot by 200-foot ice rink (winter)/recreation/event area (RecZone) covered by an approximately 30,000 square feet roof structure and additional storage and support space.

In addition, the proposed project includes a 13,000 square-foot complementary community center, reconfiguration and improvements to an existing playground to add accessible interactive components, restroom improvements, and 107 additional surface parking spaces.

The project would also include an active outdoor recreation area to the west of the new community multi-use facilities. Upon project completion, the existing Mammoth Ice Rink/RecZone (located at 416 Sierra Park Road) would be made inactive, and the existing community center (located at 1000 Forest Trail) would remain under Town operation.

The Project is located at Mammoth Creek Park West (686 Old Mammoth Road) and is comprised of Assessor’s Parcel Numbers (APNs) 040-140-001-000 and 040-140-002-000.
