After 20 years of cooking up lunch and other well-appreciated meals at the Bishop Senior Center, Pete Watercott is hanging up his chefs hat. On Monday, the Bishop Senior Recreation Committee is holding a retirement luncheon for the entertaining cook and community activist.
When we spoke to Wattercott, aka Fiddlin Pete, he said that the heavy work in the kitchen is getting harder each year. He also said that while he is retiring from the senior center, he still plans to be active in the community.

For this luncheon on Monday, Pete will cook his own farewell meal. He has reportedly chosen meatloaf.
