Weather Forecast for Monday July 29th
Pretty much a quiet week ahead, with seasonal temperatures. There will be a slight uptick in temps by Thursday, as our pesky ridge makes a return, allowing temps to hit the low 100s in Bishop. Not as hot as last week for sure, but still warm none-the-less. Smoke from nearby wildfires will continue to impact our region…DMATT

Traffic Advisory for the Week of 7/29/2024 – 8/2/2024
Inyo County
· Westgard Arizona Crossings Project – On State Route 168 E approximately 4 miles east of White Mountain Road, crews will begin construction of concrete slope protection on the shoulders. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. There will be 24-hour one-way traffic control and drivers may experience 20-minute delays.
· Owens Lake Utility Work – On State Route 190 approximately four miles east of the junction with State Route 136, utility crews will replace fiber optic cable on the shoulder. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be one-way traffic control and drivers may experience 10-minute delays.
· Bishop Pole Replacement – On U.S. 395 from Gerkin Road to Bishop Golf Course Road, there will be intermittent traffic breaks to allow utility crews to pull wire across the highway on Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Drivers may experience brief delays.
