We have upgraded the Wind Advisory to a High Wind Warning for the eastern Sierra slopes (west-southwest winds with gusts to 65 mph) and for the Owens Valley (west-southwest winds will gusts to 55 mph). The greatest concern for impacts lies along Highway 395 south of Big Pine due to the potential for strong crosswinds.

This High Wind Warning is in effect from 11am to 11pm PDT today.
