I just finished a webinar with the National Weather Service Las Vegas & NOAA.
A winter advisory is currently in effect for the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and by this afternoon, it may extend into the Owens Valley.
On Wednesday, we could see light rain in the valley and light snow above 7,000 feet.
The greatest impact is expected on Thursday and Friday, with the heaviest snowfall above 7,000 feet. Snow levels will drop into the Owens Valley.
Travel impacts include slick roads and hazardous conditions, especially above 7,000 feet.
Possible flooding during this storm in Inyo County in the Owens Valley and Death Valley areas.
