Heat Risk increases to Minor today and spreads across desert valleys through Sunday.

Minor Heat Risk means there is an increased risk of heat-related illness for those extremely sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. This includes people who are not acclimated to the heat yet (which makes early-season heat so dangerous) as well as tourists in town from cooler climates.
