NIHD Hosts Colorectal Cancer Awareness Talk March 27

In recognition of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, Northern Inyo Healthcare District invites the public to attend a free Healthy Lifestyle Talk on Thursday, March 27, at 5:30 p.m. NIHD will host the event live on Zoom and broadcast it on the Northern Inyo Healthcare District YouTube channel.

NIHD General Surgeons Dr. Robbin Cromer-Tyler and Dr. Connor L. Wiles will lead the discussion, highlighting the warning signs of colorectal cancer, emphasizing the importance of early screening, and explaining how early detection makes this disease preventable, beatable, and treatable.

Drs. Cromer-Tyler and Wiles will also provide guidance on screening options and answer questions from attendees. Community members are encouraged to participate and bring their questions.

The event is part of NIHD’s ongoing Healthy Lifestyle Talk series, which aims to inform and empower residents to make positive choices for their health and well-being.
