Nevada/California Lions International District 46 Governor Visits Mammoth Lakes Lions

As part of the ongoing visitation program to reach approximately 1170 Lions in 50 Nevada clubs and 7 Northern California clubs, including Bishop, Mammoth Lakes, Independence and Lone Pine, 2025-2026 Lions District 46 Governor Paul Silva (shown above addressing the Mammoth Lakes Lions this past week) brought with him humor, serious service program suggestions, details on vision screening and eyeglass provision and collection, membership in Lions Eye Foundation to help community applicants with critical/chronic/serious vision issues, highway 203 cleaning to help beautify the local and tourist entry to Mammoth Lakes, diabetes detection, community service program ideas to fit the Mammoth Lakes community, high school student participation in the annual student speakers contest on critical social subjects, Crowley Lake dock cleaning/repair, July 4th fireworks and parade participation, and how to serve a better pancake for Lion fundraising!

Long-term Mammoth Lakes Lion Dieter Fieberger (white shirt, seated facing other lunching Lions) was surprised and honored by the Mammoth Lions with a 50-year membership recognition pin and a great round of applause!
