| The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is currently meeting with Pack Fire survivors and will continue into next week to determine eligibility for low-interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters, and businesses.
SBA has also committed to returning after the holidays, allowing additional time for those who need to gather documentation. Mono County will continue sharing information to ensure all eligible residents are aware of these resources.
Work-from-home and self-employed individuals may also be eligible for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) if they operate a qualifying business and can document economic injury related to the disaster. Physical damage to the home is not required for EIDL consideration.
Staff are available to walk applicants through the process, answer questions, and help determine which SBA programs apply. For support, please contact Lamonica Lacey at 310-435-8607 or [email protected]. |
