Community Grant Applications Close Tomorrow! Mono County’s Community Support Grant applications close tomorrow, Sunday, November 9 at 11:59 p.m. These programs provide funding for local nonprofits through the Community Event Marketing Fund, Historical Societies Grant Program, and Performing & Visual Arts Grant Program. Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Support for Local Residents Mono County and the Town of Mammoth Lakes have joined forces to help residents facing delays in federal food-assistance benefits. Together, they approved $200,000 for providing grocery-store cards and boosting food-pantry resources to make sure families, seniors, and workers can access fresh, healthy food without interruption. 2026 Event Dates Needed Every year, we print 6,000–8,000 calendars to distribute at consumer tradeshows and by mail. These hugely popular calendars are a great (and free!) way to promote your event. We include as many events as space allows on the printed calendar, and all events are always listed on the MonoCounty.org events calendar. Please send us your 2026 event dates as soon as possible—and no later than December 5, 2025—for inclusion (as space allows) in the printed calendar.
