SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Centers Extended in Mono County with Updated Schedule

Due to weather impacts, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has extended its in-person Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) support in Mono County and updated the schedule.

June Lake Community Center

Monday, Feb. 23 – Friday, Feb. 25

Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Lee Vining Community Center

Monday, March 2 – Thursday, March 5

Hours:

· Monday, March 2: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

· Tuesday and Wednesday, March 3-4: 12:30pm – 6:00pm

· Thursday, March 5: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Please Note:

· Businesses from any Mono County community may visit either location for in-person support.

· Business owners can begin an application with no obligation to accept a loan. The deadline to apply is November 6, 2026.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans offer below-market fixed rates (around 4%), 30-year terms, and 12-month deferred payments, helping businesses address both short- and long-term needs.

A profit and loss statement is helpful if available, but SBA staff will work with businesses that do not have one. Because impacts vary widely, businesses are encouraged to meet with SBA representatives to explore options and determine what support may be available.

YNP Announces No Reservation System for 2026

Yosemite National Park has announced there will be NO reservation system for Summer 2026.

With increased visitation anticipated, helping visitors plan ahead, travel during off-peak times, and explore beyond Yosemite Valley will be key to ensuring a positive experience for both travelers and gateway communities. Please share the following planning tips and updates.

Entering the Park:

· No entry reservation required in 2026.

· Entrance fees still apply at the gates.

· Pay your park entrance fee in advance at Recreation.gov to help speed entry.

When to Visit:

· Plan for crowds: April through October is peak season, with Yosemite Valley drawing the most visitors.

· Arrive early or late (before 9 am or after 5 pm) to avoid traffic and congestion.

· Consider weekday visits for the best experience.

· Explore beyond Yosemite Valley: Encourage visitors to discover other areas of the park for a more enjoyable and less congested experience.

International Visitors:

· New fees for Non-U.S. residents: $250 for the America the Beautiful pass (valid for one vehicle or four people) or $100 for a single-park pass at participating sites, including Yosemite.
