The rapidly growing Tamarack Fire

In response to the rapidly expanding Tamarack Fire in Markleeville, Mono County has launched the Tamarack Fire Incident Portal.

 Please visit the site to view real time fire statistics, daily updates from the Type 1 Incident Management Team, air quality/smoke outlooks, current road closures, utility outages, evacuations and links to fire resources.

 The objective for managing the fire is full suppression, and all efforts are being directed towards meeting that objective with public and firefighter safety as the highest priority.
