On Monday, the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced once again extending the application period for Mono County renters, homeowners, and business owners to apply for FEMA assistance following the severe 2023 winter storms.  This second extended registration deadline will provide more time for survivors living in remote areas as well as for residents in counties recently designated for federal disaster assistance.

California families affected by the February and March storms under the Presidential Major Disaster Declaration now have until Friday, September 1, 2023 to apply for federal aid.

???? Applicants may register in the following ways:

✔️ Go online to DisasterAssistance.gov

✔️ Download the FEMA Mobile App

✔️ Call 800-621-3362 (TTY: 800-462-7585) between 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. PST, seven days a week
