MISSING FOR 1 YEAR, BISHOP POLICE ARE STILL SEEKING THE PUBLIC’S HELP

Missing Person: Jeremy P. Shirley – 49 years old, 6’03″/175 lbs (skinny), short gray hair, blue eyes. Last seen wearing a black jacket and pants, carrying a black/gray backpack and riding a blue bicycle with bright blue milk crate on the back and black basket on the front.

Jeremy was last seen on the morning of 11/02/23 at his residence on Elm Street in Bishop CA after returning from the Sundial Dispensary. Jeremy expressed concern for his safety and said he wanted to hide out somewhere, then turned off his electronic devices, left home and has not contacted any family or friends since. He was suffering from a mental health issue prior to his disappearance and is believed to be off his medication. Jeremy has ties to Ohio, Tennessee, Arizona and New Zealand, but is not known to normally venture far from home.

In late November 2023, Jeremy’s bicycle was located behind the Bishop Airport next to the north fork of Bishop Creek. Multiple searches of that area were conducted on foot, from the air and utilizing canines, but no signs of Jeremy were located.
