Celebrate Independence

From the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce family to you and your guests, we would like to wish you a Happy Independence Day. May your celebrations be fantastic and safe. We look forward to seeing you at our Fourth of July Parade.

Just as a reminder, Reds Meadow & Devil’s Postpile open TODAY!

Here is a list other of great activities going on during the 4th:

~ 7-11am, Lions Club’s “Pancake Breakfast” @ Chart House Parking Lot

~ 9am to 5pm, Mono Council for the Arts‘ “Mammoth Celebrates Art” @ Footloose parking lot (July 4, 5, 6 & 7th)

~  10:30am, High Sierra Striders‘ “Footloose Freedom Mile” starting at Old Mammoth & Minaret

~ Before and after the parade, “Doggy Water Stop” and human cooling station at Mammoth Pet Shop

~ After the parade, Chamber Music Unbound‘s “Pops in the Park” @ Mammoth Creek Park

~ After the parade until 3pm, US Forest Service’s “Fire Safety Fun Festival” @ Fire station #2 on Sawmill Cutoff Rd

~ Noon to 3pm Mammoth Lakes Fire Department‘s “Open House” @ Fire station #1 on Main Street

~ After the parade, Grumpy’s “Hot Dog Eating Contest” @ Grumpy’s parking lot

~ 4-7pm, Farmers Market @ Luxury Outlet Mall

~ 9:15pm, and, of course, “Fireworks Spectacular” @ Crowley Lake. Please leave the fireworks to the professionals!

* ~ *There will also be Fireworks on Thursday, the 5th, at the Village at Mammoth when the sun goes down * ~ *
