After Hours Thrills

Thanks to everyone who joined us for last week’s Business After Hours at Woolly’s Adventure Summit. Big thanks to MMSA for hosting with delicious food, drinks, and great company—and thanks to Ben Stranger, Senior Activities Director, for sharing what’s ahead at Woolly’s, including new attractions like the zip line. The Mountain Coaster was the star of the night—everyone who tried it loved the thrill (and many went back for another ride!). Stay tuned for next month’s Business After Hours.

Employers will need payroll systems that can tag weekly overtime separately and also track “qualified tips” by occupation. While 2025 reporting forms stay the same, new IRS guidance and updates are expected in 2026. >>> Click here to read the blog

Wildfire Smoke

Wildfire smoke is once again part of life in the Eastern Sierra. Short and long-term exposure can impact heart and lung health, with children, older adults, pregnant women, and outdoor workers especially at risk. To protect yourself: monitor air quality, limit strenuous outdoor activity on smoky days, and improve indoor air with filters or air cleaners. Employers must provide respirator masks when conditions worsen.
