Lone Pine Firefighters Announce 1st Annual Dakota Ensminger Firefighter’s Picnic

Lone Pine, CA – The Lone Pine Firefighter’s Association is proud to invite the community to the 1st Annual Dakota Ensminger Firefighter’s Picnic on Saturday, July 19th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Spainhower Park in Lone Pine.
This exciting new event celebrates community, service, and the memory of one of our own. Come meet your local volunteer firefighters and EMTs, enjoy delicious food, and take part in fun activities for all ages!

Event Highlights Include:
• Live Fire & EMS Demonstrations
• Tri-Tip Dinners and Refreshments for Sale
• 50/50 Raffle and Prize Raffles
• Kids’ Activities: Rock painting, face painting, water balloon games, capture the flag, and dunk tank fun!
• Cool Off with the Crew: Bring your family and enjoy a splash with your local fire department.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Lone Pine Firefighter’s Association, which supports training, equipment, and outreach for our volunteer department. The event is open to all ages. Everyone is welcome!

“Dakota was very passionate about our community and worked very hard for years organizing public events for our department. Bringing our community together in Dakota’s name is a meaningful way to strengthen the bond between our department and the people we serve while honoring his vision,” said Captain Seiter, Public Information Officer for the Lone Pine Fire Protection District. “It’s going to be a great evening. Fun, food, lots of water, and a chance to get to know our neighbors.”

About the Lone Pine Fire Protection District
Founded in 1964, the Lone Pine Fire Protection District provides critical fire and emergency medical services to the town of Lone Pine, neighboring communities, and the towns of Keeler and Darwin. The district’s area of responsibility spans US Highway 395 from Ash Creek in the South to George Creek in the North, as well as Highways 136 and 190. Staffed by dedicated volunteer firefighters and EMTs, the department operates under the guiding motto, “Strength, Honor, and Compassion,” ensuring the highest level of service and care to its community.

Primer Picnic Anual de Bomberos en Memoria de Dakota Ensminger

Lone Pine, CA – La Asociación de Bomberos de Lone Pine invita con orgullo a toda la comunidad al Primer Picnic Anual de Bomberos en Memoria de Dakota Ensminger, que se llevará a cabo el sábado 19 de julio, de 5:00 PM a 7:00 PM en el Parque Spainhower en Lone Pine.

Este evento especial celebra la memoria de uno de los nuestros y fortalece los lazos entre el departamento y la comunidad. ¡Vengan a conocer a sus bomberos y técnicos en emergencias médicas locales, disfrutar de rica comida, y participar en actividades para toda la familia!

Actividades destacadas:
• Demostraciones en vivo de bomberos y servicios médicos
• Cena de tri-tip y bebidas a la venta
• Rifas de premios y rifa 50/50
• Actividades para niños: Pintura de piedras, pintura facial, juegos con globos de agua, “captura la bandera” y tanque de agua con sorpresa
• ¡Ven a refrescarte con tu departamento de bomberos!

Todos los fondos recaudados benefician a la Asociación de Bomberos de Lone Pine, que apoya la capacitación, el equipo y los programas comunitarios del departamento. Este evento es para todas las edades —¡trae a toda la familia!
