Lone Pine Fire Protection District Announces New Public Information Officer
Lone Pine, CA – The Lone Pine Fire Protection District is proud to announce that Captain Ash Seiter has been appointed as the department’s Public Information Officer (PIO). In this role, Seiter will serve as the official point of contact for media inquiries, public information, and community updates. Seiter will also be tasked with maintaining the department website and social media accounts.
Seiter brings twelve years of experience in fire and emergency services to this position. As PIO, Seiter will focus on providing timely and accurate information to the public and media, ensuring transparency and community engagement in the department’s fire and EMS operations.

About the Lone Pine Fire Protection District
Founded in 1964, the Lone Pine Fire Protection District provides critical fire and emergency medical services to the town of Lone Pine, neighboring communities, and the towns of Keeler and Darwin. The district’s area of responsibility spans US Highway 395 from Ash Creek in the South to George Creek in the North, as well as Highways 136 and 190. Staffed by dedicated volunteer firefighters and EMTs, the department operates under the guiding motto, “Strength, Honor, and Compassion,” ensuring the highest level of service and care to its community.
