LifeNight Brings Energy and Education to the Community

Thursday night’s Health and Human Services LifeNight was alive with energy, learning, and connection. The event drew a wide range of participants, from curious children to engaged adults, each finding something to enjoy and take away.

Downstairs, laughter and excitement filled the room as students experimented with a sensory material made from starch, water, and other ingredients—an activity that was as fascinating to watch as it was fun to play with. Upstairs, adults were diving into valuable tech lessons, with a timely presentation on phishing scams and how to avoid them.

Educational stations added even more variety: an oral health section provided tips for healthier smiles, a specialist offered important information on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and the Healthy Home team shared advice on what to do if stung by a pest. The evening capped off with the highly anticipated big baby shower, bringing joy and practical support to expectant families.

LifeNight proved once again to be a vibrant mix of learning, community, and care—exactly what its name promises.
