With love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Kelly Rae Denver, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 65. A lifelong resident of Bishop, California, Kelly was a proud member of the Bishop Paiute Tribe and a graduate of Bishop Union High School. She filled every day with warmth, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the people around her.

Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Jaeger, and her brothers, Kevin Jaeger, Kit Strasser, and Kenny Strasser. She is survived by her beloved son, Kolin Dennis, who was the center of her world, along with her sister, Kody Jaeger, and her brother, Karl Jaeger. She also leaves behind a wide circle of cherished friends who became like family.

Kelly embraced life with open arms, always finding joy in the simple pleasures, a delicious meal (especially Mexican food), a fun night playing Keno, or a heartfelt conversation with friends. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, for turning everyday moments into treasured memories, and for sharing her kindness and laughter with everyone she met.

Though Kelly is no longer with us in person, her spirit remains alive in the love she gave and the happiness she spread. Her life was a beautiful reminder to cherish the present, hold our loved ones close, and always find reasons to smile. She would want us to celebrate, to share stories, and to continue living with the same joy she carried in her heart.

Please join us in honoring Kelly’s beautiful life on Sunday, February 23, at 11 a.m. at the Barlow Lane Gym. A potluck will follow.
