Freedom of Speech at Sierra Wave Media

First off, we apologize for not being able to restore the comments from the database restoration. We had such great discussions and are disheartened they are gone.

We believe in the fundamental right to freedom of speech. We understand that open dialogue is essential for a vibrant and informed community. Our comments section allows users to voice their opinions, share their experiences, and contribute to discussions on various topics.

Community Standards

While we champion free speech, we also recognize the importance of maintaining a respectful and safe online environment. To achieve this balance, we have established Community Standards that outline the types of content that are not permitted on our platform. These standards are designed to protect users from harmful and disruptive behavior. The primary reasons for comment removal include:

  1. Hate Speech: We do not tolerate comments that promote hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other characteristics.
  2. Harassment: Comments that harass, bully, or intimidate others are strictly prohibited. We strive to create a space where users feel safe and respected.
  3. Obscenity Is generally used to refer to sexual content that strongly offends the prevalent morality of the time.
  4. Violent Content: Any content that promotes or glorifies violence is not allowed. We aim to foster a peaceful and constructive community.

Sierra Wave Media is dedicated to protecting your freedom of speech while ensuring that our platform remains a safe and respectful place for all users.  Thank you for being a part of our community and contributing to meaningful conversations. If we find a comment that does not meet the community standards we will reach out to you and let you know.
