Junior Varsity Boys Game: Bishop 52 LP 39 Anthony Guerra: 21 points Noah Quezada: 10 points Tommy Fogerty: 10 Rebounds Francisco Castro: 8 rebounds I loved the intensity that we played with. All of the kids played their hearts out. Tommy Fogerty was a beast on the boards while Anthony Guerra’s slashing moves to the basket were exciting to watch. It was especially fun for me, to coach against my older brother Matt Kemp and my nephew who we had a difficult time stopping, Will Kemp. Varsity Boys Game: Bishop 59 LP 51 Cristian Duran: 19 points Dev Bhakta: 18 points Ralph Enriquez: 8 points Andrew Pineda: 7 rebounds Alfonso Castro: 5 rebounds, 6 assist, 4 steals Our team basketball improved tremendously from the first of the season to this game! At the half we were up on Bishop by one point 21-20. Our man to man defense was superb, we helped each time their guards drove to the basket. Alfonso Castro played all 32 minutes and was all over the court the entire game. I was extremely proud of our team. We have a never give up attitude that carries over from practice to the games. This is a very fun team!

The Bishop Bronco JV Boys basketball team played their first game Tuesday evening against Lone Pine JV and came away with the victory 52-39. Leading the way for the Broncos was Will Kemp with 19 points, followed by Devon Mitchell 14 points. Dom Dondero added 9 points, Levi Williams had 4, Michael Spratt had 2, Fidel Castro had 2 and Thomas Jackson had 2. It was a good team effort. The boys played well, especially for the first game of the year. Coming up on the schedule is 2 games this Saturday at Whittell high school, at Kern Valley next Tuesday 12/12, and at Lone Pine Friday 12/15.
