At the Monday, February 3rd meeting of the Mono Basin Historical Society, CalTrout’s Eric Huber will present an illustrated talk about June Lake’s rich legacy of fishing recreation, the natural history of Whitebark Pines and what that has to do with fishing, and the history of Lower rush creek natural resource protections.
The short business meeting begins with a potluck dinner at 6 PM, and the program at 7 PM at the Lee Vining Community Center on Mattly Avenue. All are welcome. The Mono Basin Historical Society is a non-profit organization; visit our webpage at www.monobasinhistory.org.
