Living, working and serving the communities in Mono County for the past 17 years has helped prepare me for my next venture in public service. My plan is to run for the District 4 Supervisor seat in Mono County.

My commitment to public service is evident. I have, and continue to be a member of numerous local and countywide organizations. Currently, I serve as an elected official on the Eastern Sierra Unified School District (ESUSD) Board of Trustees as the representative from Area 2. I was elected in 2012 and am serving in the 4th year of a 4 year term.

As your Supervisor, one of my goals will be to promote economic vitality in District 4 and the entire county. I will also promote policies that build communities and families. Instilling trust for the employees of Mono County in their leaders is also a top priority. We need to secure the future of Mono County and District 4 with quality leadership. I am one of those leaders.

My ability to work together with other individuals as well as community and public institutions such as chambers of commerce, the county, and state and federal agencies, will serve District 4 and Mono County constituents well. This strength will definitely support my goal of uniting the people of Mono County with the common purpose of moving the County forward with economic stability and community vitality. The ability to work within the framework of the Mono County Board of Supervisors as a productive participant and contributor is critical. Providing effective representation to the people in District 4 and the county as a whole requires hard work, dedication and the desire to serve the public. A good leader must be a good server and great listener.

My track record of serving the communities of Bridgeport and Walker/Coleville/Topaz (Antelope Valley) is long and has proved successful. I will bring my experience and energy to serve the District 4 residents of the Town of Mammoth Lakes as well. I have been a member and a leader in numerous organizations. Antelope Valley Lions Club (AVLC), Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce, Coleville High School Boosters and the Antelope Valley RPAC are just a few. I have served as an officer in many organizations including past-President of the AVLC. In addition to my public service I am the General Manager of the Bridgeport Inn which I have operated continuously and successfully for the last 17 years.

Prior to being elected as a Trustee for the ESUSD, I was a member of numerous school committees including School Bond Oversight committee (4 years), Scholarship committees, School Budget committee representative (CHS), School Site Council, and as a parent representative for Teacher Selection and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation. I also volunteered as a coach on many levels of organized sports activities from little league to high school. My commitment to volunteer and serve has been continuous since moving to Mono County in 1999. In addition, my Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Management will provide a solid foundation to serve within our local government for the people of Mono County. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve the people of District 4 and Mono County as your County Supervisor. I am confident in my qualifications as a candidate and am ready for the job.

Please feel free to contact me at any time. I look forward to working with the citizens of Mono County District Four.
