The next Owens Valley Certified Farmers Market will take place on Friday October 3 at the Owens Valley Growers Cooperative in Independence between 4 and 7 pm, on the corner of Edwards St. (Route 395) and Kearsarge.

This week’s market will feature lettuce, mesclun, tomatoes, melons, apples, pears, chard, summer  and winter squash, peppers, beets, carrots, onions,  eggs, herbs, cactus, local arts and crafts, and baked goods. WIC accepted.

Farmers Markets in Bishop and Mammoth Lakes

ESCFM continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary. In addition to fresh fruits, veggies, eggs, a customer survey, and a drawing for a basket of produce and other goodies donated by the farmers and other vendors. The community is invited to ìcome for the food and stay for the fun!î

Eastern Sierra Certified Farmersí Market has two locations ñ Bishop Farmersí Market, on Saturday mornings from June through October – 9 to 11 a.m., is located westerly of Hwy 395 on Church Street, directly behind City Hall and Skipís Outdoor Market in Mammoth Lakes, which honors the late Skip Harvey, one time mayor of Mammoth Lakes, on Wednesday evenings from July through October – 4-7 p.m., is located on Hwy 203 at the Mammoth Luxury Outlet Mall.

Seasonal items are offered weekly. There is always something new at the Market!

ESCFM is always looking for suggestions from the community, new farmers/gardeners, complimentary vendors, artists, and entertainment to join adjacent to the weekly Markets.
