Covid-19 Vaccine Appointments Available THIS WEEK for Residents 50+:

Inyo County early-bird vaccination appointments are available to Inyo County residents aged 50+ as soon as today, March 30 at Bishop Vons through a registration link to Albertsons Pharmacy Services at: https://mhealthcheckin.com/covidvaccine?clientId=1600119802441&region=California_-_San_Diego_2&urlId=%2Fvcl%2F1600119802441.

Eligible individuals 50+ in the Lone Pine area may make an appointment for vaccine by calling Southern Inyo Clinic at 760-876-1146.

Dr. Stacey Brown, Director of the NIHD Rural Health Clinic, administered the first public COVID-19 vaccination for the age 65 and up age group to Wayne Martin of Bishop on Thursday, January 14.

COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Update: As of March 15th, individuals aged 16-64* with underlying health conditions are eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine.  Information and updates regarding vaccine roll out continue to be posted to the Inyo County Vaccine Information webpage, www.inyocounty.us/covid-19/vaccine-information. The link is also for our listeners and readers on SierraWave.net. Inyo County is currently receiving 500 1st dose Moderna vaccines per week, which is being administered to the groups of individuals who are currently eligible for the vaccine.

If you believe you are eligible for the vaccine, visit https://myturn.ca.gov/, and enter zip code 93514 to see available appointments.  Available appointments can pop up at any time, so sign up for the Inyo County registration at: www.inyocounty.us/covid-19/vaccine-information. They will contact when an available appointment pops up.
