Just before the holidays, the staff at Northern Inyo Healthcare District held a gift drive to benefit the patients of Bishop Care Center. More than 60 gifts were gathered, everything from warm jackets and sweat pants, to cozy slipper socks and challenging puzzle books. After careful handling and wrapping, the gifts were delivered just in time for Santa’s arrival.
NIHD’s CAREshuttle program, sponsored by the Northern Inyo Hospital Foundation, delivered the gifts of goodwill right to BCC’s front door.
