Our Beloved Mother
Geraldine J. Lowe
1937 – 2023

Jeri was born Dec. 22, 1937 in Compton, CA. to Edward and Mallie Hines. Jeri went to see the Lord on Sept. 7, 2023. She was the most wonderful mother and grandmother anyone could have! She will be missed very much!

Jeri moved to Bishop from Compton, CA. in the 1950s with her husband Robert R. Lowe and in-laws Rupert R. Lowe and Ferne A. Lowe. Jeri worked at the telephone co. in the late 50s and early 60s. Jeri moved to Washoe Valley, NV. in 1971 to 1975. In 1975 the whole family sold most everything, packed up the rest and drove to Alaska where Jeri lived until 1987. She always loved Bishop and all her friends.

She moved back to Bishop where she lived until 1997. She worked at the bowling alley in the early 90s where she loved bowling. She moved to Tacoma, WA. In 1997 to 2001. She missed Bishop and her friends and finally moved back to Bishop in 2001.

Anyone who knew Jeri, knew she had the biggest heart. Again, she will be missed very much!

Jeri is survived by her sons William Lowe, Ronald Lowe (wife Debbie Lowe), and Robert Lowe (wife Robin Lowe). Her grandchildren, Aurthur Lowe, Michael Lowe, Billy Lowe, Logan Lowe, Karah Lowe, Kacey Lonely, and Stefanie Formane.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop, CA.
