{rokintensedebate}The detailed count of additional absentee and provisional ballots in both Inyo and Mono did not change any of the election outcomes. Some candidates did gain additional votes but the winners noted election night remained the winners.

Mono County’s website revealed some changes in vote counts but not in winners. The closest election was First District Supervisor in Mammoth Lakes. Larry Johnston gained 215 votes. Bill Sauser, 210. That count remained the same from election night.

The election of Sheriff Coroner found Sheriff Rick Scholl re-elected with 2169 votes to challenger Doug Northington’s 1140 votes. Mammoth Town Council winners remained the same, with some additional votes. Matthew Lehman topped the list with 795 votes. John Eastman with 643 and Rick Wood with 555.

Measure M, the Medical Marijuana Cooperative Initiative passed with 890 yes votes and 693 no votes. The Utility Users Tax passed with 1,062 yes votes to 511 no votes.

Again, Mono County Clerk Linda Roberts will take the 28 days allowed by law to certify the Mono County vote which will mean the newly elected Mammoth Town Councilmen will take their seats in July.
