ESCA’s Blue Ribbon Walk & Run to be held at new location March 28

Eastern Sierra Cancer Alliance invites the community to take part in its annual Blue Ribbon Colorectal Cancer Awareness Walk & Run on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at its new location — Millpond Recreation Area. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the walk and run starting at 9 a.m.

Held during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, the event is a chance for community members of all ages to come together in support of awareness, early detection, and local cancer care. This year’s move to Millpond Recreation Area offers a welcoming setting for a meaningful morning of community connection and purpose.

“We are excited to bring this year’s event to Millpond Recreation Area and to gather once again as a community in support of colorectal cancer awareness,” said Cheryl Underhill, President of the Eastern Sierra Cancer Alliance. “Events like this help keep the conversation going about screening, prevention, and the importance of standing alongside our neighbors affected by cancer.”

Registration is $40 for adults and $20 for youth ages 12 and under. The event will also include a fundraiser drawing. Community members may register online at ESCancerAlliance.org or in person at Grocery Outlet on Friday, March 20, from 4 to 6 p.m., and at Northern Inyo Healthcare District’s Administration Breezeway on Wednesday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Those interested in sponsoring the event may contact Cheryl at (760) 920-0106. For more information or to register, visit ESCancerAlliance.org.
